Xena’s lameness is about the same as last night. She still places her foot quite carefully, and I noticed that sometimes she first puts weight on the toe and then rolls onto the sole of her hoof — at least that’s what it seems like. She continues to have difficulty walking up the slightest incline.
It was another hot and humid day, so I gave her a shower in the wash stall and again put liniment on the full length of her leg. Tomorrow it will be one week since I first noticed something was wrong with her leg or foot.
